IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Itineraries are intended as examples only; all prices, inclusions and dates may change due to circumstances beyond our control including but not limited to weather, wildlife habits, contract service providers, and/or logistical decisions of the tour leader and/or operations manager. Visitors must be prepared to be flexible as schedules may vary depending on conditions. Weather and wildlife are unpredictable; northern lights and/or wildlife sightings are not guaranteed.

Each traveller is required to complete a Frontiers North Adventures Tour Registration and Waiver form prior to their trip. If travelling with children, a Parental Release must be signed for each child.

RESERVATIONS

We accept payment by VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, cheque, electronic money transfer (within Canada) or international wire transfer.

A child rate applies to children 12 years of age or under at the time of travel. Proof of age will be required prior to travel to ensure the proper charges have been applied.

Many trips sell out six to 12 months in advance; we suggest you reserve your space early.

FRONTIERS NORTH’S MULTI-DAY AND PACKAGE TOURS

Deposit and mandatory insurance policy

A non-refundable deposit of $750 CAD per person is due at time of booking. Reservations must be accompanied by the guests' full names.

For travellers who book any 2021 or later Frontiers North package tour with initial deposit on or after June 1, 2020, comprehensive travel insurance coverage is mandatory, including without limitation medical, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation and interruption insurance. It is the responsibility of the traveller to secure adequate insurance coverage for the level of protection they desire. Additional expenses or losses sustained by the traveller as a result of the traveller failing to obtain proper insurance coverage shall be the sole responsibility of the traveller; Frontiers North will not be held responsible for missed connections, incorrect check-in times, improper documentation and/or lost, stolen or damaged luggage. We strongly encourage travellers to purchase a trip insurance package through their provider of choice at time of booking to maximize individual insurance benefits.

Evidence of insurance policy documentation will be required no later than at time of full payment, 120 days prior to departure.

Single supplement

Tour prices are based on double occupancy. If you are travelling alone and would like us to arrange a suitable roommate for you on the trip, we will make every effort to do so. If a roommate is not available, or you wish single accommodations (where available), we must charge a Single Supplement that reflects additional costs we incur for a singly occupied room. Cancellation and refund policy

This applies to all package tours, unless otherwise noted (see Temporary 2020 cancellation and refund policy below). In the event that you must cancel your reservation, refunds will be made according to the following schedule: 

  • Booking – 121 days prior to departure: $750 CAD per person, non-refundable
  • 120 – 61 days prior to departure: 50% of total invoice, non-refundable
  • 60 – 0 days prior to departure: 100% of total invoice, non-refundable

No refunds are available for charter flights that are included in the itineraries. No partial refunds or credits will be given for services not used.

As many advance logistical arrangements have been made prior to the operation of these trips, we must adhere to the cancellation policies.

The guest or agent/wholesaler is responsible for advising of cancelled space requests and for relaying accurate guest arrival information and special requests for the guest in a timely manner. The guest or agent/wholesaler is also responsible for having the guest complete the Frontiers North Adventures Tour Registration and Waiver Forms and for having these forms submitted to our office in a timely manner.

Rates are subject to change and if necessary, these changes will be passed on to you and your guests.

Temporary 2020 deposit, deferral, cancellation and refund policy (RE: COVID-19)
Issued 21 April 2020

This applies to all package tour bookings for travel between July 1-Nov. 28, 2020 and is limited to trips operated by Frontiers North Inc.

A deposit of $750 CAD per person is due at time of booking. Reservations must be accompanied by the guests’ full names. Full payment is due 90 days prior to departure.

In the event that you must cancel your reservation, refunds will be made according to the following schedule: 

  • Booking – 91 days prior to departure: $500 CAD per person, non-refundable
  • 90 – 61 days prior to departure: 50% of total invoice, non-refundable
  • 60 – 0 days prior to departure: 100% of total invoice, non-refundable

Final payment must be made no later than 90 days prior to departure. Once final payment has been received and confirmed, our standard cancellation and refund policy applies based on the 2020 travel year.

Guests have the option to defer their booking to any 2021 or 2022 departure at the 2020 rate, and must advise a Frontiers North Adventure Planner no less than 90 days prior to their 2020 departure date, at time of final payment.

Guests with paid deposit have the option to transfer their deposit to any 2021 or 2022 departure, subject to the future year pricing, by contacting Frontiers North Adventures no less than 90 days prior to their 2020 departure date. After 90 days, our standard cancellation and refund policy applies based on the guest’s original 2020 departure date.

Guests will be permitted a one-time name change at no charge; additional name changes are subject to a deviation fee.

We encourage guests to rebook as soon as possible to secure their preferred rates and dates. This offer is subject to availability, subject to change and cannot be combined with another offer.

TUNDRA BUGGY DAY TOURS AND DAN’S DINER INDIVIDUAL TICKETS

Deposit policy

Payment is due in full at time of booking. Reservations must be accompanied by the guests' full names.

Cancellation and refund policy

Tundra Buggy Day Tours and Dan’s Diner Individual Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. We strongly recommend you book your travel and accommodations prior to booking your Tundra Buggy Day Tour or Dan’s Diner Individual Ticket.

In the event that a scheduled tour is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, we will rebook affected guests on the next available tour, subject to availability.

This applies to Tundra Buggy Day Tour bookings for tours between July 2-Nov. 17, 2020 and is limited to trips operated by Frontiers North Inc. 

Tundra Buggy Day Tours are non-refundable. Guests will be permitted a one-time name change at no charge; additional name changes are subject to a deviation fee.

In the event that a scheduled tour is cancelled or travel suspended due to COVID-19 circumstances beyond our and/or our guests’ control, we will rebook affected guests on the next available, identical tour, subject to availability. Guests will also have the option to defer their booking to any identical 2021 or 2022 tour at no additional charge, at the 2020 rate, if request is made no less than 30 days prior to their planned 2020 tour date.

We strongly recommend you book your travel and accommodations prior to booking your Tundra Buggy Day Tour. This offer is subject to availability, subject to change and cannot be combined with another offer.

Insurance

We strongly encourage travellers to purchase medical, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation and interruption insurance through the provider of their choice. Because many advance logistical arrangements have been made prior to the operation of these trips, we must strictly adhere to the above cancellation policy. In addition, travellers should be aware that some medical insurance policies do not cover expenses, including medical evacuation while travelling in a foreign country. Frontiers North Adventures will not be held responsible for missed connections, incorrect check-in times, improper documentation and/or lost, stolen or damaged luggage. Any additional expenses caused by late or cancelled transportation carriers will be borne by the traveller. 

PRIVACY STATEMENT

We at Frontiers North Inc. respect your privacy. Whether you visit our website or speak to an Adventure Planner, you may be asked to provide some personal, identifiable information such as your name, address, phone number and email address. Additional information is collected when you purchase products from us. Frontiers North Inc. does not divulge, share or sell any personal information that you provide with any other organization, unless providing that information is necessary to complete your travel package. Frontiers North Inc. may from time-to-time use your personal data, such as your email address or mailing address, to contact you with news or information that may be of interest to you. Frontiers North Inc. employs standard security techniques such as a firewall, 128-bit encryption and site monitoring. Your data is stored in a secure physical environment. Our staff accesses this information, as required, to fulfill our obligation with our guests. Our staff is trained in security procedures and complies with the Frontiers North Inc. code of conduct.
