Important information

Itineraries are intended as examples only. Actual itineraries may vary depending upon weather, wildlife habits, contract service providers, logistical decisions of the tour leader and logistics manager, and forces beyond our control. Visitors must be prepared to be flexible; schedules may vary depending on conditions. 


To reserve your adventure in Canada's North, please call us at 1-800-663-9832 or 204-949-2050 to check availability for the dates you are interested in. We accept payment by VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, electronic money transfer (within Canada) or bank transfer. Many trips fill up 6 to 12 months in advance. We suggest you reserve your space early. 

Single supplement

Tour prices are based on double occupancy. If you are travelling alone and would like us to arrange a suitable roommate for you on the trip, we will make every effort to do so. If a roommate is not available, or you wish single accommodations (where available), we must charge a Single Supplement that reflects additional costs we incur for a singly occupied room. Please contact an Adventure Planner for further details.

Deposit policy

At time of booking: $750 CAD per person. Reservations must be accompanied by the guests' full names. Full payment is due 120 days prior to departure.

Cancellation & refund policy

This applies to all tours, unless otherwise noted on individual itineraries. In the event that you must cancel your reservation, refunds will be made according to the following schedule: 

  • Booking - 120 days prior to departure: $500 CAD per person, nonrefundable.
  • 119 – 61 days prior to departure: 50% of total invoice, nonrefundable.
  • 60 – 0 days prior to departure: 100% of total invoice, nonrefundable.

No refunds are available for charter flights that are included in the itineraries. No partial refunds or credits will be given for services not used.

As many advance logistical arrangements have been made prior to the operation of these trips, we must adhere to the cancellation policies. We strongly suggest guests purchase trip cancellation insurance.

The agent or wholesaler is responsible for advising of cancelled space requests and for relaying accurate guest arrival information and special requests for the guest in a timely manner. The agent or wholesaler is also responsible for having the guest complete the Frontiers North Adventures Tour Registration and Waiver Form and for having these forms submitted to our office in a timely manner. This applies to all individual bookings as well.

Rates are subject to change and if necessary, these changes will be passed on to you and your guests.


We strongly recommend trip cancellation and medical evacuation insurance. Because many advance logistical arrangements have been made prior to the operation of these trips, we must strictly adhere to the above cancellation policy. In addition, you should be aware that some medical insurance policies do not cover your expenses, including medical evacuation while travelling in a foreign country. Insurance is 100% non-refundable. Frontiers North Adventures will not be held responsible for missed connections, incorrect check-in times, improper documentation, and/or lost, stolen or damaged luggage. Any additional expenses caused by late or cancelled transportation carriers will be borne by the traveler. 

Privacy statement

We at Frontiers North Inc. and Tundra Buggy Tours Ltd. respect your privacy. Whether you visit our website or speak to an Adventure Planner, you may be asked to provide some personal, identifiable information such as your name, address, phone number and email address. Additional information is collected when you purchase products from us. Frontiers North Inc. and Tundra Buggy Tours Ltd. do not divulge, share or sell any personal information that you provide with any other organization, unless providing that information is necessary to complete your travel package (for example, a membership with Polar Bears International is included in some travel packages, or you may request a quote for travel insurance). Frontiers North Inc. and Tundra Buggy Tours Ltd. may from time-to-time use your personal data, such as your email address or mailing address, to contact you with news or information that may be of interest to you. Frontiers North Inc. and Tundra Buggy Tours Ltd. employ standard security techniques such as a firewall, 128-bit encryption and site monitoring. Your data is stored in a secure physical environment. Our staff accesses this information, as required, to fulfill our obligation with our guests. Our staff is trained in security procedures and complies with the Frontiers North Inc. and Tundra Buggy Tours Ltd. code of conduct.
