Responsibility

Tourism done right—rooted in responsibility, driven by respect

As shared stewards of the land, we are dedicated to operating in a safe, sustainable, and respectful manner, ensuring that the ecosystems, wildlife, and communities we engage with continue to thrive for generations to come.

Our commitment goes beyond just exploring the North—we actively support conservation efforts, prioritize sustainable practices, and partner with local operators to create positive, lasting impacts. By choosing to travel with us, our guests become part of this shared commitment to preserving the wild spaces and cultures that make Canada's North so extraordinary.

Peer-Reviewed Research

We align ourselves with non-profit organizations that are in the field researching to conserve wildlife and their habitats. We also believe it is our responsibility to provide as much opportunity to learn for the guests on our tours. Finally, we adhere to strict regulations and ensure that we comply to keep these ecosystems intact.

Going Electric In The Subarctic

Our EV Tundra Buggies are charged using hydroelectric power produced in Manitoba. The electricity is generated at Manitoba Hydro’s Kelsey Generating Station on the Nelson River, 400 kilometres south of Churchill, and is 100% renewable.

This innovation allows our guests to experience tours that navigate silently under the northern lights and amongst the subarctic wildlife. Our goal is for large tourist vehicles to fade into the background, creating a more immersive wildlife viewing experience free from noise pollution, benefiting both our guests and wildlife. This silent experience also allows our guides and guests to communicate more naturally with each other on the tundra.
