Digital Marketing Designer – Full time, permanent


We are seeking a Digital Marketing Designer to join our team. This position is predominantly responsible for implementation of Frontiers North’s digital marketing efforts, web design and development. You understand digital ecosystems and how they can help Frontiers North achieve its goals. You will build the tools and share the expertise that enables sustainable digital marketing efforts to grow within Frontiers North Adventures.

This position reports to the Manager, Marketing and Communications. Working cross-functionally with the marketing team, you will also focus on content development and strategy (on and offline), SEO/SEM, expanding our client database and executing a variety of marketing activities to meet our business goals.


  • Perform digital design, website development and maintenance, which may include collaboration with internal and third party developers
  • Contribute to content creation including but not limited to social media, blogs and e-newsletters
  • Drive SEO/SEM efforts to generate leads and increase online transactions
  • Contribute to digital marketing plan development
  • Provide cross-training to project teams as required
  • Adhere to brand standards and style guidelines
  • Research and identify new digital opportunities

You bring:

  • Post-secondary education in the marketing, communications and/or UX/UI design, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years’ demonstrated experience in a marketing team environment
  • 2+ years’ proven experience in website and/or UX/UI design and development for small-to-medium sized business using online tools (from concept to wire framing to build)
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong critical thinking and excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail
  • A creative, positive and innovative attitude
  • Demonstrated experience creating written content for digital platforms and/or print
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign
  • Experience working with analytics and reporting

The following skills are considered an asset, but not required:

  • Experience with HubSpot
