Role Overview

While we won’t expect you to grow our Instagram following to one million overnight; we’ll expect you to know how to create content that drives engagement.

The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, development and implementation of Frontiers North’s digital marketing efforts. You understand how digital works and how it can best help Frontiers North achieve its goals. You will build the tools and share the expertise that enables sustainable digital marketing efforts to grow within Frontiers North Adventures.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, your focus will be on website, online advertising, social media, SEM, and email program development. This position will also be responsible for creating and maintaining reports to show digital marketing performance. Working cross functionally with the marketing team you will plan and execute marketing activities to meet business goals. 

As the Digital Marketing Coordinator, you will:

  • Create a digital marketing strategy and implement the tactics within that plan. 
  • Maintain and update websites including working with internal and third party developers.
  • Handle daily updates of social media (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn).
  • Contribute to the creation of content including but not limited to social media, enewsletters, blogs, etc.  
  • Manage digital advertising efforts to drive online transactions and lead generation.
  • Develop, monitor and maintain campaigns, undertaking A/B testing, writing copy and making recommendations on landing pages to drive online conversions.
  • Monitor and drive SEO efforts to maintain or grow positioning using available reports and individual research.

You bring:

  • Post-secondary education in marketing, digital media or other relevant field.
  • 2+ years’ experience in digital marketing.
  • A creative, positive and innovative attitude.
  • Hands-on experience creating and managing online campaigns, ads, posts, and contests on multiple platforms including proven experience with Facebook, Google Analytics/Adwords, and Instagram ads.
  • Proven copywriting/editing for website, print, social media and blogs.
  • Strong computer skills (Mac skills preferred) including experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytic skills and an understanding of social and digital metrics. 
  • Experience with email nurture campaigns is an asset.
