Accounting and Office Coordinator

Frontiers North Adventures is currently looking for an Accounting and Office Coordinator to join our team!

As the Accounting and Office Coordinator, your role is key in duties related to the accounts payable, accounts receivable and office administration support to the accounting team and the office as a whole.

Role Overview

Your responsibilities include:

  • Process cheque, EFT and expense report requests on a regular basis
  • Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices
  • Perform monthly reconciliations for a range of accounts 
  • Maintain vendor accounts while staying in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Perform data entry associated with accounts payable
  • Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies
  • Audit and process credit card charges
  • Address and respond to vendor inquiries
  • Enter and maintain expense accruals 
  • Organize and coordinate office operations and procedures
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail and shipments
  • Order and maintain office supplies
  • Shipping and receiving of inventory
  • Other duties related to accounting, and operations

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles is considered an asset
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team with the ability to prioritize task
  • Computer skills (excel and word)
  • Communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Great Team player; able to assist in all areas of the organization as needed
